Dr Phaethon Karagiannis

Since completing his fellowship examinations in 2023, Dr Karagiannis has strived to attain the highest level of exposure to aesthetic excellence. He completed his training with the Sydney Aesthetic fellowship, working with some of Australia’s highest volume and most well regarded Cosmetic Plastic Surgeons. Following his formal completion of Australian training, Dr Karagiannis undertook a microsurgery fellowship at the prestigious Royal London Hospital, the flagship hospital of Britain’s oldest hospital trust and Europe’s largest trauma centre.

Dr Karagiannis then began his pursuit of educational opportunities with world leaders in facial aesthetic rejuvenation, undertaking a travelling fellowship in London for three months with some of the UK’s top deep plane facelift surgeons. During this time Dr Karagiannis honed his skills not only in facelift surgery, but lip lifts, brow lifts and forehead reduction or hairline lowering surgery.

After this, Dr Karagiannis travelled to Ghent, Belgium to spend 3 months operating with the inventors of the MACS lift and pioneers of nanofat grafting, Dr Patrick Tonnard and Dr Alexis Verpaele. Dr Karagiannis used this time to fine tune his techniques of deep neck reduction, brow lifting and micro fat grafting as a permanent solution to the filler epidemic.

Dr Karagiannis’ finally completed the prestigious ISAPS Villa Bella fellowship in Salo, Italy. Dr Karagiannis spent 3 months under the expert mentorship under the one of Italy’s doyens of facial aesthetic surgery Dr Giovanni Botti and his equally talented daughter Dr Chiara Botti. Here Dr Karagiannis gained further expertise with the high SMAS deep plane facelift, ocular rejuvenation and rhinoplasty.

Dr Karagiannis is now back permanently in Sydney and taking consultations by appointment at the locations below.
